Our experienced bilingual staff is motivated, dedicated, and knowledgeable of early childhood needs. They encourage children to pursue, investigate, and respond creatively to individual interests, enhance social interaction, foster independence and develop creative thinking in a non-competitive atmosphere. Staff receives ongoing training in all areas of early childhood development.
All staff members are carefully selected based on a combination of their educational background and experience to ensure competent loving care. Virginia Beach Department of Social Services requires that one person be on staff at all times who is trained in CPR & First Aid. To ensure that all our children are safe and healthy, all staff members are trained in those areas. Each employee’s references, physical health (including TB clearance) and criminal record clearance are verified prior to employment at Children’s Learning Paradise.
Our teachers demonstrate a caring, nurturing nature, as well as the facilitative teaching mastery that promotes a child’s development of both English and Spanish language skills and the traditional Kindergarten readiness of academic and social concepts.
